Demonstrators demanded that lessons be learned from a shocking mass sexual assault case in Avignon.
French man Dominique Pelicot was accused of drugging his wife Gisele Pelicot so that dozens of strangers could sexually assault her for 10 years. The southern city of Avignon sued Dominique and 51 other men involved in the case, and the case has now entered the final trial stage.
